Communication is the most powerful thing in the entire universe. With communication, everything starts and everything falls apart. When we declare something for ourselves, it becomes true for us. I declare that I am happy or that I am angry, and then I am so. I declare to myself that I am in love with someone, and from then on I create feelings for that person. These are examples of communication from myself to myself. And that is the way it is with everything; I commit to apers on and from then on, I start behaving in the way that I committed to them.
Therefore, it’s through communication that we transmit everything, and it is through communication that we develop each area of our lives. If we want to sell our product in Portugal orin Brazil, we have to communicate with the people there and we have to create an effect on those people that make them want our product. How? When reaching our (potential) customers, our communication must be able to make an impact using the universe of ideas and the linguistic knowledge of our target audience, in order to instill in the manexactreplica of what we transmit.WhatwesayinAngolawillprobablybetransmitteddifferentlytowhatwesayinMozambique, using this common language that is the Portuguese. In other words, our intention must reach our audience, bearing in mind that each location will understand us in a specific way, according to the linguistic register of each audience. And that the native translator takes the ideas and rewrites them with the typical tones of the region and the idiosyncrasy of the people.
